Birmingham

My home town, Birmingham, will always hold an important and influential hold on me.  I grew up there, in a place full of people, buildings and easy convenience. This series of works was a real joy for me; exploring media and trying to capture the characteristics of the city.  There was major redevelopment happening in the city centre during the time I created this body of work and some of the pieces have captured places that no longer exist or are vastly different from what we see now.  This collections serves its purpose to record and remind of a specific time and place that no longer exists as I knew it then.
